THE FIRST RACE OF IT'S KIND
Go Rogue is a 3.5 mile run and 3.5 mile kayak on the Rogue River in Rockford, Michigan.
The race starts out at Rockford Foot Depot, just north of the town square in quaint Rockford. You will hop on the wooded White Pine Trail, which runs along the Rogue River, take a little jog over to tree-lined Summit to Rector, ending at Camp Rockford. The course is lush and green, with the river running along most of it. The best adventures start out on foot!
Your kayak will be numbered and waiting for you at Camp Rockford where we will exchange from running to paddle for the second leg of your trip.
We will have a yummy Clara Protein Cookie for you and a water bottle to keep you going on the second portion of the race. The Kayaking is roughly 3 1/2 miles long, taking approximately 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace to complete.
Both novice and veteran racers will love their Go Rogue adventure.
The river is winding and picturesque and will be at it's peak of summer beauty.
The race ends in downtown Rockford where we will have a local restaurant boxed lunch waiting for you.
After lunch, join us for our raffle and post-race party, starting with your included Go Rogue beer token!
Mark your running calendar for our 2nd Annual Go Rogue Rockford Sunday, August 11th, 2019 and get ready for an unforgettable adventure race that will inspire your summer soul.
REGISTRATION OPENS IN JANUARY 2019.
